Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 first sale rolls 2,50,000 units in 10 minutes, another blockbuster phone!

Xiaomi, the Chinese phone manufacturer shall be taking a bow already! The company launched Redmi Note 4 on January 19 and announced first open sale on January 23 in India, exclusive on Flipkart. Interestingly, the Redmi Note 4 first sale rolled about 2,50,000 units sold in just 10 minutes, setting a new record. Redmi Note 4 is the successor Xiaomi’s 2016 device Redmi Note 3, a record setting phone itself. Xiaomi, certainly had their bets on Redmi Note 4 and what becomes apparent is, the newly launched Redmi Note device might rewrite a brand new success story  for the company in the county.

Xiaomi in a official statement said that Redmi Note 4 saw 3 times sales than Redmi 3S and 5 times sales than Redmi Note 3, comparing the first sale of the devices in the county. The company’s strategy of providing its users with quality specification at affordable price tag has worked in favor in Indian market. The company claimed to sell 2.3 million units of Redmi Note 3 in 2016, and it was also named as the bestselling phone online in India. Xiaomi introduced Redmi Note 4, starting from a price of Rs 9999 and goes upto Rs 12,999 fro the top variant.

Redmi Note 4 comes in three variants – 2GB RAM/16Gb onboard storage, 3GB RAM/ 32 GB onboard storage and 4GB RAM/ 64 GB onboard storage, priced at Rs 9999, Rs 10999 and Rs 12999 respectively. The device is currently available in three color variants – Gold, Grey and Silver. A new Matte Black variant is expected to be available soon around next month.
